BREITLING Super Avenger CHRONO 48 Night Mission DLC-Coated Titanium BLUE

Suit Up! Be it space suit like the one this chap’s wearing in the pic, wetsuit, flight suit or g-suit like those worn by the F35B Lightning II fighter pilots stationed on the HMS Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier that recently lead a joint strike group through the South China Sea and is currently on R’n’R in Guam – here’s a watch that requires you to dress appropriately.

This is the Super Avenger Chronograph 48 Night Mission DLC-Coated Titanium Blue. Part diver, part aviator, sometimes astronaut - fulltime bad boy!

Its specific Arabic numerals recall the stenciled numbers used on the decks of aircraft carriers like the one mentioned above or the USS Gerald R Ford the newest and most advanced aircraft carrier in the US Navy.

It features a sturdy oversized 48mm DLC-coated Titanium case, blue dial and a blue military leather strap that fits either a DLC-coated Stainless steel pin buckle or folding clasp. Bold, extremely robust and shock-resistant, the Super Avenger Chronograph 48 Night Mission makes a bold statement on your wrist but without the discomfort sometimes encountered when wearing oversized watches thanks to that lightweight yet strong Ti case of its.

As an Avenger it is equipped with a rugged bezel with Breitling’s signature rider-tabs as well as a special grip-pattern on its crown and chrono-pushers that mean the Super Avenger Chronograph 48 Night Mission can be easily operated wearing both aviator and or diver’s gloves.

Sure it’s clichéd but they're features that Breitling are proud of and ones that explains the watch’s unique rugged styling.

In addition to the above the watch offers exceptional safety features as well as reliability from its Breitling 13 self-winding mechanical movement with 46hrs of power-reserve to any airborne, waterborne or indeed space-borne adventurers. MSRP is 5’950USD excl. sales tax.

Thoughts? I’m a big fan of these Avenger Night Mission editions; they’re not designed to be worn with a Savile Row suit but look absolutely perfect with any casual or mission attire.

So would you choose this or the new Avenger Auto GMT 45 NIGHT MISSION Limited Edition that I recently posted?
