ROLEX Submariner Date 2020 Oyster 41MM 18K Yellow GOLD

In addition to the 41mm 124060 No Date, 126610LN Date, 126610LV Date AKA Kermit, and the 2x two-tone models 126613LN & 126613LB, and the white gold 126619LB, Rolex has also released a further two 18k yellow gold references.

Refs 126618LN (black on black) and 126618LB (blue on blue) get new sized 41mm cases constructed from in-house, Rolex-forged 18k yellow gold.

The gold used for these two models has been cast at the Rolex foundry and so say Rolex is of the highest quality 18k gold alloy.

According to the proportion of silver, copper, platinum or palladium added, different types of 18k gold are obtained: yellow, pink or white.

They are made with metals that have the highest levels of purity which are meticulously inspected in Rolex’s in-house laboratory with state-of-the-art testing equipment, before the gold is formed and shaped.

Both 2020 41mm Submariner Date in 18k yellow gold come with either; black or blue Cerachrom (corrosion-resistant ceramic) bezel inlays and a matching dials with large luminescent hour markers AKA Rolex’s Chromalight display.

Even more bling’d-out baller variants with diamond indexes will likely be available upon request.

Both 18k models are equipped with 18k yellow gold Oyster bracelets with an Oysterlock clasp which features Rolex’s Glidelock fine-adjustment should you ever decide to wear your 40 grand Submariner over a wetsuit!

Power comes from the caliber 3235, a new-generation movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex.

It boasts 14x Rolex patents, as well as significant gains in terms of precision, power-reserve, resistance to shocks and magnetic fields.

It also incorporates the new Chronergy escapement patented by Rolex, which combines high energy efficiency with great dependability. Because it is made of nickel-phosphorus, it is also insensitive to magnetic fields.

MSRP for both the 18k gold references: 126618LN (black) & 126618LB (blue) is 36,950USD.
