YEMA Superman HERITAGE GMT

Struggling with Coke addiction? We’re here to support your nasty habit.

Guys, come on – surely didn’t think I was referring to the tasty beverage – or anything nefarious? God forbid! :-/

I was of course referring to the bi-colored GMT bezels cos’ whether you’re a Coke or a Pepsi man, YEMA has a new collection of GMT divers that is guaranteed to quench your thirst.

The bi-color GMT bezel has had quite resurgence in the past few years: most notably the Rolex GMT Master II and Tudor BB GMT.

In fact any self-respecting purveyor of dive watches has at least one in their collection.

CW, LeJOUR, Magrette and Steinhart among others have some really nice ones.

They say choice is king, so here’s another GMT collection for your delectation.

Introducing the new Superman Heritage GMT from YEMA!

The collection offers three models: Pepsi, Coke or Blue-Grey.

The watch was designed and developed in close collaboration with the YEMA faithful.

It is based on the French watchmakers classic dive watch, the SUPERMAN with its unique bezel-locking-mechanism that can lock-down either dive-time or a 2nd time-zone.

The 39mm x 13mm Stainless steel case has a water-resistance of 990 feet and is fitted with an old school box-shaped Sapphire crystal.

In addition to YEMA’s iconic shovel minute-hand, the watch has a discreet yet highly legible GMT hand so that a second time-zone can be read.

The watch also gets a new case-back design: engraved with YEMA's historic coat of arms and an embossed brushed effect.

It comes on a 316L Stainless steel band with security-lock as well as a diver’s extension for easy and quick adjustment over a wetsuit.

The bezel, hands and markers have all been treated with Swiss SuperLumiNova offering excellent readability in low light conditions.

Power comes from a Swiss ETA 2893-2 automatic movement.

The Superman Heritage GMT comes as a Limited Edition series of 100 pieces of each.

You can PRE-ORDER it now for 1,499USD.

Thoughts? Another lovely classic bi-color GMT offering; the modest size will surely appeal to the purists among you but personally it might be a little small.
