BREITLING Avenger AUTOMATIC GMT 45 & GMT 45 NIGHT MISSION

Here’re another two new models from Breitling’s redesigned Avenger collection. BTW, follow THIS to see the new Avenger Seawolf & Seawolf Night Mission watches, posted earlier.

In the meantime these are the new Avenger Automatic GMT 45 and GMT 45 Night Mission watches.

The Avenger first debuted in 2001; with the 2019 relaunch, the updated collection is positioned in a unique new spot in Breitling’s Air brand universe (wherever that is).

The Breitling Avenger Automatic GMT 45 has been created for adventurers who are frequent travelers:

in addition to its central hour, minute, and second hands, it has a hand that indicates a second time zone. Its hands and indexes are coated with SLN for enhanced legibility in all lighting conditions.

The COSC-certified chronometer has a 45mm Stainless steel case and a blue dial. Powering it is a Breitling Caliber 32 self-winding mechanical movement with a power-reserve of approx. 42 hours.

It comes with a leather military strap secured by a pin or folding buckle or with a Stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp.

The Breitling Avenger Automatic GMT 45 Night Mission has a 45mm case made of strong but lightweight DLC-coated Titanium.
Its Arabic numerals were inspired by the numbers stenciled on the decks of aircraft carriers. It has a black dial and is delivered on a sand-colored leather military strap with a pin or folding buckle.

While the Avenger watches were created as reliable companions for aeronauts their robust, rugged design that included a unidirectional bezel among other diver’s features as well as high levels of water-resistance made them just appealing to dive watch enthusiasts.

Both Avenger Automatic GMT 45 watches are water-resistant to 30 bar/300 meters.

Thoughts? I am all over these new Night Mission watches – Ti, DLC and stenciled numerals; I’d lose the date, though but still – so cool!

  1. I have the blue dial which gained about 10 seconds a day. Breitling regulated under warranty and It now keeps near perfect time going days without gaining a second. It is the most accurate automatic Iown.
