AURICOSTE Spirotechnique Pro 300M DLC

Here’s a quick look at the Spirotechnique 300M DLC. I can’t say it’s a brand new, but at least it is new since we FIRST looked at the brand a couple of years back.

The keen eyed among you will have spotted that these current variants have happily done away with the cyclops over the date.

Apart from this and of course the DLC treatment that I was previously unclear on whether it was DLC or PVD and perhaps the bold yellow NATO (which looks killer paired with the DLC) the watch is the same.

Released some 30 years after its initial creation, the Spirotechnique Professional 300 has a 41/42mm in diameter 316L Stainless steel case with a DLC finish.

It is fitted with a diver’s bezel, Sapphire, crystal, screw-down and signed case-back and crown, is powered by an ETA 2824-2, has BG W9 lumed hands and markers, and is water-resistant to 300 meters.

MSRP is 1950euro NATO or 2150euro on bracelet. You can choose between Arabic markers on professional markers, brushed steel or black DLC finishes, bracelet, NATO or rubber straps.

Thoughts? I’m a huge fan of these re-birthed Franco divers: Auricoste, Triton, ZRC et al. If they are too rich for your blood and you still want a revived French diver, why not check out either this YEMA or LIP.
