That’s right folks; the latest iteration of Tudor’s popular heritage diver, the Black Bay has been released in a special green series made exclusively for London’s premier department store, Harrods of Knightsbridge.
We know the Black Bay very well – probably a little too well, they’ve got more colors than skittles, so let’s look at the special features and one little quirk peculiar to the Black Bay Harrods Edition.
Starting with the obvious, the Black Bay Harrods features Harrod’s iconic green and gold livery with a green bezel inlay, dial and water-resistance text dial – and gold: hands, markers, minute-track and dial text.
That little quirk I was referring too earlier was something only super nerdy watch geeks (not me) would ever notice but because Harrod’s (Arab owned as it is) is a British department store, the depth rating in Imperial Feet comes (in this instance) before meters does.
There’s also large H for Harrod’s on the case-back. The Tudor Black Bay Green for Harrods comes fitted with a Stainless steel link bracelet and is supplied with an additional old school fabric strap. Its price is £2630.
