By TLex The new Superocean Chronograph M2000 in Black Steel is every bit as dark as the abyss that it was created for. It is the latest limited series belonging to Breitling's M2000 Chronograph family, the world’s only diving chrono that is fully functional to a depth of 2000 meters!
The Superocean Chronograph M2000 is equipped with an exclusive magnetic pushpiece system. This patented device enables the chronograph controls to be handled via the metal of the case, making this model the world’s only chronograph to be water-resistant and entirely functional to an impressive depth of 2000 meters (6,600 ft), without any risk of water seeping into the case.
Already available in a polished steel version, the Superocean Chronograph M2000 is now available in a 250-piece Limited Series featuring a satin-brushed steel case with a black color achieved by a high-resistance carbon-based treatment.
Its matching black dial allows for optimal readability with oversized hands and hour-markers that have been generously filled with a luminescent material. A black rubber-molded unidirectional rotational divers bezel ensures an excellent grip even used with a divers glove.
Its rugged case is equipped with a built-in decompression valve to vent Helium, and is fitted with a 4mm thick anti-reflective coated Sapphire crystal. Housed inside is a SuperQuartzTM movement, chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute) that ensures a very high level of precision that is 10 times higher than that of regular quartz.
The Superocean Chronograph M2000 Blacksteel is equipped with an exclusive contrasting white-edged black leather strap. Very cool! :)
