MIAMI Watch Co. VIPERIDAE

By TLex Introducing Miami Watch Company and their new Viperidae watch series, which is poised to strike and inject a deadly dose of venom into your wrist with a 5 piece collection of 200 meter mechanical compressor-style dress-divers that includes models named after some of the world's deadliest snakes!

Okay, perhaps that was a little dramatic; however dramatization aside the sunny Florida based watch company are poised to take on the watch industry. With a team made up of creative designers and horology masters with almost 20 years of watchmaking and designing between them, they have been manufacturing and developing watches and watch-components for other companies for many years.

They have multiple watch brands, the most successful of them being, Amir Watches. Now they have decide to create a new collection, which has just recently launched through crowd-funding on IndieGoGo.

The collection, which consists of five models of self-winding watches with Sapphire crystals, 200m cases and SuperLuminova dials includes models such as the Gaboon Viper and Black Mamba. Sadly sea snakes don't fall into the same family of snakes or they would be an obvious choice for a more serious diver. ;)

The watches of the Viperidae collection feature a 42mm in diameter (without crown-guard) x 14mm high 3-part construction case in 316L surgical-grade Stainless steel that has: a fixed bezel, a scratch-resistant Sapphire crystal, an inner rotational ceramic timing-bezel, a screwdown caseback and crown with double O-rings. Water-resistance is 20 ATM.

The watches are powered by s self-winding automatic NH35 movement with 24 jewels and 21,600a/H, 42 hours of power reserve and a stop seconds indicator. Its functions include central hours, minutes and sweep-seconds.

Dials come in either black PVD plated with applied metal indexes and frames, an enamel paint and high gloss finishing or in white with a hammered-effect. All 3 hands have been filled with SuperLuminova.

Miami Watch Company's Viperidae collection is presented on a heavy-duty canvas strap with a leather-like padding and a Stainless steel buckle. They are available for pre-order on IndieGoGo, HERE. Follow MWC on Facebook, HERE
