By TLex This is the Nautical Seventies Vulcain Trophy 2014 watch, Ref. 100159A97.BAC116 made for the Vulcain Trophy, a series of yachting regattas that take place on Lake Geneva this season's yachting regattas.
The watch is a re-issue a special Nautical model from 70s and is the third color variant that Vulcain has released. It was originally released in 2013 in ORANGE and then again in BLUE later that year. The green of the dial has been used on the lining of the strap.
Special features of the Nautical Seventies Vulcain Trophy watch include: an engraving of the competition name on its triple-piece caseback, designed as such to create a resonance chamber, so that its mechanical alarm is audible even underwater.
Specifications include: a 42mm in diameter Stainless steel case with a water-resistance of 300 meters / 990 feet and Vulcain's legendary hand-wound Cricket caliber V-10 with mechanical alarm and 42hrs of power-reserve. Functions include: hours, minutes, central seconds, alarm, decompression tables - adjustable via a screwdown crown at 4 o’clock.
