ORIS Aquis RED Limited EDITION 2ndLOOK

By TLex Here's another look at the new Oris Aquis RED Limited Edtion watch with its striking red accents.

The watch was made in support of the RSEC's research and conservation programs to protect the underwater paradise of the Red Sea of which the watch also pays tribute to.

Nestled between Africa and Asia, the Indian Ocean's Red Sea is not only one of the world's top diving sites but also boasts one of the planet's most diverse ecosystems that is home to over 1,200 species of tropical marine life.

The new Oris Aquis Red Limited Edition watch is powered by an automatic movement, the Oris Cal. 733, based on a Sellita SW 200-1, with date window at 6 o’clock.

The watch features a multi-piece 43mm Stainless steel case with a protected screwdown Stainless steel crown.

Its dial is in dark grey with applied indices and Nickel hands, both with SuperLumiNova inlay.

Divers features include: a double domed Sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating, a unidirectional rotational divers bezel with a ceramic inlay inc. red and white dive-time scale and a water-resistance to 30 bar/300m.

Further divers features include: a screw-down caseback with special illustration of a cute little fishy (not sure what it is?) and an engraved limited edition number.

The Aquis Red Limited Edition [Ref. No. 01 733 7653 4183 RB] comes on a black rubber divers strap with safety anchor and a Stainless steel clasp with sliding adjustment.

The Limited Edition of 2000 pieces comes presented in a special box set including a waterproof torch priced: 1900CHF.

  1. Good review! I have purchased Oris Aquis Red Limited Edition (£1320) but the things didn't go well for me :( I love the watch, but the first one was with defected bezel, which I was waiting for 3 weeks to be repaired and in the end the store issued a replacement, but the replacement has a mark on the anti reflective coating on the inside of sapphire glass, Im keeping the second one anyway but Oris must take care with their manufacturing processes. Overall, I probably won't purchase other Oris watches and would recommend anyone to be extra careful and do a proper inspection before buying Oris.
