HEROIC18 Bronze DIVER

By TLex Panerai enthusiasts and strap specialists, Heroic18 have released their debut timepiece, the Bronze Diver. Blending influences from Panerai's Bronzo models [PAM382, PAM507] and Alessandro Betterini's Ennebi' FONDALE, which traces its roots back to a prototype watch that he designed for the Italian Navy in the early 80s -

the Heroic18 Bronze Diver processes that typically Italian naval heritage look that has become so popular in recent years. It isn't too dissimilar from the Montres Militare Officier De Marine (if anyone knows that one?), which only has a 100m water-resistance and a redundant caseback design that has a Panerai style engraving designed to accommodate a removal tool, but is in fact secured by screws!

The Heroic18 Bronze Diver has a nice, functional caseback design. Its large 47mm CuSn8 bronze case has 500 meters of water-resistance and is fitted with a Japanese made Miyota 9015 automatic caliber and a 4.5mm thick Sapphire crystal. Four dial versions are available in either black or green with or without Arabic markers. Prices are from 799USD.
