H2O Kalmar TUNGUM

By TLex INTRODUCING the new H2O Kalmar TUNGUM, the 2nd Tungum model in H2O's Kalmar series. It joins the Kalmar TUNGUM FixedBezel, and is the first divers model of its type, ever! The watch has a 45mm (46mm inc. bezel) x 17.6mm solid Tungum alloy case with a water-resistance of 3000 meters; another first for this material! Its lustrous brushed case is accentuated by a number of matt-black components.

The Kalmar TUNGUM diver is fitted with an anamorphic DLC coated crown, lateral Helium escape valve (HEV), 60-click unidirectional rotational divers bezel and display caseback, which allows for a spectacular view onto the watch's Swiss made ETA 2824-2 automatic movement complete with SuperLuminova applied H2O custom rotor.

TUNGUM The specialized alloy that the H2O Kalmar TUNGUM is constructed from is a relatively unused material in the watch industry; only one other watch company is currently using it. Apart from its obvious aesthetic qualities, which can be likened to that of 22 carat gold; Tungum is well suited to marine environments, where it is favored for its anti-magnetic and anti-sparking properties and high corrosion resistance to seawater. It is currently being used in a number of off-shore industries.

OPTIONS & AVAILABILITY The Kalmar TUNGUM comes standard with a DLC crown-guard set and CNC buckle; an optional Tungum crown guard set (shown) and CNC Tungum buckle (not shown) are available as extras. Of the 17 dial options that are available for the watch, is this beautiful new H2O black mother of pearl dial featured here with applied chrome hour markers. There are just 24 pieces of the Kalmar TUNGUM available from the H2O OnlineStore.

The watch will come on a custom H2O Horween 'Shell Cordovan' strap with dual-stitching. Price: 1'500USD (+19% VAT for EU). Tugum Crown Guard 100USD / Tungum CNC Buckle 150USD. Availability for all new models is end of November / early December with a UPS Express shipment scheduled to arrive before Christmas.
