By TLex Yes, it is damn nice looking; you can pick that slobbering tongue back of the floor now and read up about the fantastic VDB I from Vintage Daily Beater. The German made vintage military inspired VDB I will only be produced in limited series of eight watches (including 2 left handed versions and a special edition; that's not fair! No prizes for guessing where the rest of the VDB1's inspiration came from either, I have no complaints! The watch has been completely handcrafted, that is everything apart form its hands and movement.
Specs include, a 200m depth rating, 46mm 316L stainless steel case, massive domed plexi glass, magnetic protection cover, oversized screw-down crown 11mm (inside original Rolex screw down), Glashütte diver hands, Tritium lume on indices and hands, Glashütte Spezimatic automatic movement 25 jewels (shockproof) and 2X 28mm shark skin straps.
As well as the very recognizable serial number engraving inside the lugs owners can also have a personal engraving put on the case back. The watch will come presented in a wooden box with a two year warranty. The VDB I will cost; 2350 euro, PVD 2650 euro SE 3500 euro. Now all we need to do is convince them to make a few more, enjoy ;)
