ROGER DUBUIS Easy DIVER (2010)

From Roger Dubuis The magnificent column-wheel chronograph movement is stamped with the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark and given place of honor in this brand new steel case with its black and orange molded rubber. The dial, with its silvered sun-ray ground, features applique numbers at 12 and letters at 6. To give it depth, it opens onto two satin-finished zones above and below the black counters. The push-pieces feature orange and black molded rubber elements to complement the bezel. The rubber strap is fitted with a steel folding clasp. This exclusive model comes in a single limited series of 280.

Mechanical movement with self-winding micro-rotor system, 13¾’’’, 36 jewels, rhodium-plated, “Côtes de Genève” motif. Stamped with the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark.

IWC AQUATIMER Chrono J.Y Cousteau LE (2010)

By TLex Here's a quick peek of the soon to be released limited edition of the NEW Aquatimer Chrono made in tribute to Jacques-Yves Cousteau. If he was still alive today he'd be 100 years old, hence the 1910 -2010 inscription on the watch's case back.




I would imagine the specs remain the same as the current model as have other Cousteau editions in the past except for the dial and case back. A very attractive looking watch and fitting tribute to an extraordinary man; more to follow when something official surfaces ;)

ESSEX Watches (just got hot)

By TLex ESSEX Watches have just recently expanded their La Primera range. As well as the Classic and GMT models they have added a new chronograph. The new chrono utilizes a modified version of our trusted friend the ETA Valjoux 7750 Cal. It uses exactly the same case as the existing Classic and GMT; and ESSEX Watches have managed to skillfully add the chrono function along with destro (left handed) pushers without compromising its 1000m water-resistance.

ESSEX Watches have also added a stunning new brushed silver dial to the whole La Primera line. The new chrono is also available in two stealth finishes, PVD or DLC (with white dial). In addition there is a new DLC version of the GMT with a white dial. The two white dialed DLC divers are absolutely smoking hot!

AZIMUTH Xtreme-1 DEEP DIVER (OceanicTime special edition)

By TLex Unconventional looking yet deeply cool; a utilitarian professional divers instrument with Rock Star appeal; Baselworld 2010’s most intriguing diver and OcenaicTime's most wanted for 2010. The AZIMUTH Xtreme-1 DEEP DIVER is due for release in the 2nd part of this year. As well as the regular version (with red DEEP DIVER lettering) there is also a possibility of a special edition for OceanicTime and its readers.

The OceanicTime special edition will be exactly the same as the regular model forsake one or two very subtle aesthetic differences. Blue will be used for the DEEP DIVER lettering instead of red, and it may or may not sport the OceanicTime diver icon just left of 9 o’clock (your votes will decide). AZIMUTH and I are undecided on whether to put the diver icon on the dial or not, so would be extremely appreciative of your input. Please take the time to cast your vote for the version of the DEEP DIVER special edition that you think looks best.

A specially engraved case back is also planned, the design of which is yet to be decided, but will most likely be put to the vote as well. Finally AZIMUTH will offer an exclusive discount for OceanicTime readers on the special edition.
