By TLex Established in 2007 by Rainer Brändlein; Essex-Watches are a dive watch brand you may not have come across before; from what I've seen of them they are definitely worth taking note of. Their La Primera dive watch line (that was launched last year) has two 1000m models; the Classic and the GMT (featured here). Both utilize what looks a very nice bead-blasted case with contoured crown guard at the 4 o'clock position, a good indicator that Essex-Watches know a thing or two about dive watch design.
More evidence of this can be seen in the form chunky bezels with ever so slightly saw-toothed grip, clean mat-black dials, over-sized crowns or the 4' o clock crown placement itself. All tried and tested dive watch design elements that work. They have been implemented to create a very nice no-nonsense looking professional diver that comes with a contemporary twist in the form of its bracelet complete with interlocking / woven center-links; a modern take on mesh?
