In addition to their Baselworld top billing, the 4000 meter, BLUE SHARK III, Delma have added another new dive watch to their diver collection for 2019.
The new Cayman Automatic is inspired by the crystalline waters of the Caribbean Sea and has a distinct retro-aesthetic harking back to Delma’s earlier days.
The Cayman is available with 5 different looks; each with a sunburst dial, itself with luminous filled applied indexes.
The vintage case, the old school anodized bezel with rhombus 12hr marker, the oversized unguarded screw-down, winding-crown and Milanese mesh bracelet will appeal greatly to retro fans.
However the Cayman isn’t just a pretty face; its 42mm x 13.3 case is made from robust Marine Grade Stainless steel and is water-resistant to a respectable 500 meters.
This is fitted with diver’s bezel, a Sapphire crystal on top and a hardened mineral crystal underneath affording views of a Delma engraved gold plated rotor and the ETA 2824-2 automatic movement that it powers.
BTW Delma offer the Cayman as Quartz with 200m.
