Hamilton puts a new colorful spin on their updated Khaki Navy Scuba and it’s fast as the wind!
This is the new Khaki Navy Scuba Syroco Special Edition watch inspired by Syroco’s innovative, wind-powered speedcraft.
Taking its name from the savage, scorching hot Mediterranean winds hailing from the Saharan desert that can reach hurricane speeds –
the Syroco’s is hoping to shatter the sailing speed record while shaping the future of carbon-free maritime transportation!
Meanwhile the new Khaki Navy Scuba Syroco SE features a handsome blue dial in a motif symbolizing the target speed of 150 km/h, matched with a blue and silver dive bezel.
The watch is powered by the H-10 automatic movement with its Nivachron™ balance spring and 80hrs of power-reserve. WR btw is 10 bar (100 m).
Meanwhile the watch’s 40mm in diameter Stainless steel case is equipped with equipped with a blue and white diver’s bezel which wraps around a Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.
This is teamed to a blue rubber diver’s strap; while its unique case-back engraving celebrates the partnership between Hamilton and Syroco. MSRP is CHF 775.
Thoughts? Blue, silver, orange this is indeed an appealing color combo but I don’t see said Syroco Speedcraft anywhere; perhaps a blackened case and carbon weave dial would have been more on theme.
It’s still pretty nice though but what do you think?
