DOXA Sub 600T PACIFIC BLUE [midlife crisis?]

DOXA’s 80s baby gets a hot new look for the 2020s!

Here’s a Doxa diver that is getting on in life, and well by the looks of things it might be having a bit of a midlife crisis or is it?

This is the new SUB 600T Pacific Blue, a collaborative project with Doxa Watches and Time+Tide, and it is possibly Doxa’s most exiting looking model, ever – well, at least in a long time. It was officially announced / launched just a few hours ago, and because just 200 pieces were made available, unsurprisingly they are already all SOLD OUT.

Based on Doxa’s 1982 model, the SUB 600T, the 40+or- year’s milestone is marked with this Limited Edition SUB 600T Pacific –

whose 600m water-resistant, 40mm in diameter case has been (for the first time) executed in entirely in Titanium.

Doxa has previously only ever used Titanium for the SUB Mission 31 Professional and SUB 800Ti models. But the Titanium case is just the beginning; the watch also boasts a texturized no date dial in cobalt blue with OG Sub 600T diamond (3,6,9 and 12 hours) and circular indexes, a throwback to the OG model from 1982. Only 200 numbered pieces will be made, and they are all gone as per Doxa’s online shop. MSRP is / was 1,890CHF.

Thoughts? The Titanium case, the OG indexes on the granulated blue dial with matching rubber with Ti clasp, plus the exclusivity that comes from a mere 200 pieces makes this one of, if not the coolest looking Doxa models, ever.

But what do you think?
