TAG Heuer AUTAVIA Cal. 5 BRONZE

In addition to the lovely Stainless steel AUTAVIA three-hand models, TAG Heuer has released a further two models made from Bronze.



The 42mm timepieces feature a fumé (smoked) green or brown dial with a bidirectional rotating bezel in black or brown ceramic respectively.



The model with the brown dial and brown ceramic bezel is presented on a brown leather strap, -



while the model with the green dial and black ceramic bezel is presented on a khaki-coloured leather strap.



Special featured of the Autavia Bronze include a Bornze XL crown, inspired from pilot’s watches and timers that used oversized crowns so that they were easier to use when wearing gloves.



Because bronze is known to adversely react with human sweat, the case-backs of the Autavia Bronze models are made from Titanium.



The Titanium case-back has a design with a propeller and tyre has been etched into it. Water-resistance is 100 meters.



Powering the Autavia Bronze three-hand timepieces is the COSC-certified Calibre 5. automatic movement.



There is no denying that the Autavia lends itself beautiful to this noble metal. So that’s TAG in the BRONZE club – I wonder who’ll be next? Rolex will never happen but Omega perhaps?
