PANERAI Radiomir CERAMIC

One of Panerai’s most historic old school diver’s goes high-tech for 2019!

That’s right the new Radiomir 48MM AKA PAM 00997 is based on one of the brand’s most historic diver’s watches, the Radiomir, a prototype of which was created at the dawn of WWII –

for use by the frogman commandos of the First Submarine Group Command of the Royal Italian Navy whose historical archives show that just ten prototypes were produced in 1936.

For the uninitiated, the Radiomir with its lack of diver’s bezel and mere 100 meters of water-resistance mightn’t appear to be a diver per se but make no mistake; this has more diving pedigree than most.

The Radiomir 48MM not only gets a new high-tech matte black ceramic case but also a more than fitting new military green dial – given the watch’s military heritage.

The stunning military green dial is with luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers as well as a sub-seconds at 9 o'clock.

While on the reverse side of the watch is a Titanium case-back with a smoked Sapphire crystal affording views of the P. 3000 caliber.

Choose between hand-stitched Italian leather or textile straps. MSRP is 13,300 USD excl. sales tax or 12900€. Smoking hot!
