EDOX Delfin Fleet 1650 BRONZE Limited Edition

Seems that the BRONZE revolution is in full swing – even mainstream watch brands, of the type that you might encounter down the local mall are creating tempting vintage-styled bronzed beauties like the new Fleet 1650 L.E. Bronze from Edox.

A revival of the vintage Delfin timepiece collection, the 43mm case of the Delfin Fleet 1650 has a stunning bronze case, the same material used on the fittings of 17th Century Dutch ships.

Divers features include: a unidirectional rotational divers bezel with a navy blue aluminum inlay, an anti-reflective doomed sapphire crystal, a screw-down crown and solid caseback, and a water-resistance of 200 meters.

The Stainless steel caseback is engraved with a wind rose design like the ones found in historic drawings along with a special engraved inscription reading “There is no certainty, there is only adventure “plus its Limited Edition number out of 200. Its dial is in deep blue.

The watch is powered by a Swiss-made Edox Cal. 88 automatic movement.

Presented in a hand-made leather travel pouch, the Edox Delfin Fleet 1650 Limited Edition also comes with a vintage heritage leather strap and a bi-color NATO strap.

The EDOX Delfin Fleet 1650 Bronze Limited Edition Ref. 88004 BRZBU BUI will go on sale from July 2017, priced 1990€.

  1. Loving the dial and bezel, but not really feeling that case shape much.
