LIMES Endurance PD

Wow – how clean is this! This is the new Endurance PD from Limes. It’s the same great German made divers watch minus the dial text.

PD simply stands for plain or pure dial. The dial of the Endurance PD now only shows those features that are pertinent to the actual reading of time.

There’s nothing superfluous on the dial – no mention of the Endurance’s 300 meters of water-resistance or its high precision Swiss made automatic movement, or that it is in fact made in Germany.

Without such distractions, the eye is instantly drawn to that which is most important for reading the time: a minute scale, large luminous markers and date at 6 o’clock.

These generous, polished luminous hands offer excellent contrast so that dial readability is good even in poor lighting conditions.

Powering the Endurance is the Sellita SW 200-1. It is housed in an Ickler German made dive watch case measuring 41mm by 13mm thick and is fitted with a unidirectional bezel and an AR-treated Sapphire crystal.

Personally I’d keep the Limes name and lose the minute track but that’s me. However there is no escaping just how striking the watch looks particularly in blue – very nice indeed.

The Endurance PD divers watch is available for order now directly from LIMES. It can be come with either a black rubberized leather strap or Stainless steel divers.

Prices start at EUR 960 (incl. VAT), EUR 806,72 (without VAT).
