Please don’t readjust your screen – rather readjust your mind! This is no ordinary dive watch; this is an industrial-styled high water-resistance tool-watch.
It ain’t designed to go under a shirt cuff, it will look out of place in the boardroom, but it if you’re someone who likes to do things a little differently,
then here’s an intriguing watch from a company in Hong Kong who also like to do things just that bit differently – introducing the DELTAt NBS!
Inspired by a nuclear fusion reactor, the NBS watch is an exceptionally robust piece of kit. It contains a number of industrial characteristics such as the three heavy-duty screws that run through its bezel, main-case and case-back cover.
It is available with a selection of case materials that include Marine Grade 316L Stainless steel and Al Marine Bronze. There are even some funky blue anodized versions for those that are looking for even more wrist-presence!
The NBS mightn’t be your first choice as a diving companion, but with its automatic Helium Escape Valve, thick anti-reflective treated Sapphire crystal and 1000 meters of water-resistance, it's more than fit for bath-time duties!
It is powered by a Japanese made, Miyota Cal 8N24 automatic movement which can be viewed through the three slits in the watch’s dial - revealing the balance wheel and escapement fork’s operation.
Finally the NBS boasts a patent pending Lug Screw Locking Mechanism with small rubber O-Rings provided on the lug screw adding extra friction between the screw and the pin when fastened thus helping to prevent the screw from coming loose.
