EDMOND Spray 200M

By TLex Introducing the Spray collection from EDMOND Watches a series of contemporary Swiss made nautical watches made in tribute to Joshua Slocum, who pioneered solo sailing between 1895 and 1898. His first solo voyage to Boston was aboard an 11 meter sloop called, the Spray, a boat that he had built himself!

This incredible achievement inspired the design of the dial of the Spray, which is clearly legible in all conditions. Before the invention of GPS, time was the only information that sailors could accurately use (in combination with sextant) to precisely position themselves.

The Spray has been manufactured to withstand the most extreme conditions that modern-day sailors will encounter. It also is equipped with EDMOND's exclusive patented user-friendly locker system that protects its crown.

Its 44mm x 14mm (thick) 316L Stainless steel case is fitted with a tough scratch-resistant Sapphire crystal. It is available in two finishes that include Ssteel or Black PVD. It has a water resistance of 200m.

Powering the watches of the Spray Collection is a Swiss automatic mechanical movement, the Sellita SW200 with 28 800 alt/h, 25rubies, customized with the 'Power Ring' and a power-reserve 40hrs.

The Spray's black dial is with indexes and hands in luminova. It is available on either a solid steel bracelet or black rubber strap with a double fastening to the case and a folding deployant clasp. Follow the link HERE to find out more about the Spray . . .
