MAGRETTE Dual TIME

By TLex Here’s another look at the elegant new DUAL TIME from Magrette, which features a new 42mm (without crowns) case size that allows for many more people to enjoy wearing it.

Features of this fine watch include: Sapphire crystal, a screwdown crown and caseback and an inner timing-bezel that can be adjusted via the crown at 2 o’clock giving the versatility of a second time-zone. It is powered by a reliable and accurate Japanese Miyota 9015, automatic movement with hacking seconds.

The new Dual Time comes in 4 different color combinations, all limited to 500 pieces worldwide. The Stainless steel versions have a brushed case with polished bezel. The black versions have a stealthy matte finish as their steel cases were bead-blasted before being treated with PVD.

The dials are made of two discs on top of each other with cut-outs for the indices and date, often referred to as, a sandwich dial. SuperLuminova (C3 greenish and Vintage radium color) will ensure visibility in dark conditions.

The caseback sports an engraving of a Frigate bird; a bird that also appears on ancient Polynesian star compass maps for navigation. Its wingspan can reach 2-3 meters, and it is known to stay in the air for up to a week, feeding itself by snatching prey from the sea surface.

The Dual Time will be delivered together with Magrette's new signature CASE. Follow the link HERE for more info. The watch's are expected to be ready by May 2015.
