DAVOSA Argonautic Lumis Chronograph & Nik LINDER

By TLex Davosa have teamed up with multiple World Record freediver Nikolay 'Nik' Linder, who is the Swiss company's new brand ambassador. Nik holds several records in various disciplines of freediving, however his specialty is, distance diving under ice; brrr!

A purist with his equipment, he leaves nothing to chance. This is especially true when choosing the right watch. The Argonautic Lumis CHRONO came to Nik's attention even before his involvement with DAVOSA.

Freedivers are very different from scuba divers: instead of using compressed air tanks that spew out streams of noisy bubbles they enjoy the thrill of a dive to a depth on a single silent breath of air.

"The watch has everything a professional dive watch is distinguished by: simple to operate and with a clear and easy to read dial with luminous hands and markers. This is important when visibility is limited underwater. Since the watch also looks strong, it was an easy choice!"

Optimizing the environment and resources is a philosophy that fits perfectly with the minimalism of freediving. As well as to the Argonautic Lumis with its mechanical automatic movement that generates its power solely by the natural movement of the wearer.

The watch features a 42.5 mm in diameter by 17.5 mm thick gun-metal PVD coated 316L Stainless steel case - housing a precise Swiss made automatic movement with a chronograph function and date. It comes of a solid Stainless steel bracelet with divers extension and safety clasp.

Diver features of the watch include: a manually operated Helium Valve for SAT diving, a scratch-resistant Sapphire crystal, a high-tech ceramic unidirectional rotational divers bezel, self-luminous Tritium gas tubes, a screwdown case back, crown and pushers and a water-resistant to 30 ATM, the equivalent of 300 meters.
