By TLex Obris Morgan have opened pre-orders for their latest tool diver, the Explorer II, a handsome-looking watch that for just shy of 280USD offers a Japanese made automatic mechanical movement and a slew of diving features that include:
a 120 click-type unidirectional rotational divers bezel with dive-time scale, an automatic Helium Escape Valve, a 3.4mm thick double domed Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a triple sealed screw-down crown and caseback and a water-resistance of 200 meters!
There are a total of 8 versions of the Explorer II available with 2 case finishes that include brushed or bead-blasted, two basic dial colors in either horizontally-brushed black or blue and with two different colored dial fonts in either light blue or warm yellow.
The dial features thickly printed SuperLuminova lumed indices and a C1 SuperLuminova lumed blasted handset. Powering the Explorer II is the high-frequency Japanese made Miyota Cal. 9015 beating at 28,800bph. It housed in a Stainless steel movement holder.
Obris Morgan are also offering a selection of vintage-style rubbers divers straps in 5 colors that include: aqua blue, black, orange and either lemon or warm yellow. Further features include: a 'Super Engineer' 4.6mm thick 5-link Stainless steel bracelet,
Dimensions include: a 42mm diameter (excluding crown), a 12mm thickness (including caseback, a 51mm lug to lug length, a 20mm lug width, an 8x3mm crown and net weight of 216grams.
