By TLex Paying tribute to Ulysse Nardin’s seafaring past and the brand’s pioneering DNA, UN have released an Original MARINE Chronometer Series, that has been designed with the hard-wearing in mind and created exclusively for their boutiques, worldwide.



With its 45mm ‘Blaktop’ coated Stainless-steel case the high-tech scratch-resistant coating made from amorphous carbon, will not only give the Marine Chronomoeter a stunning sleek black appearance, but exceptional hardness, too – while protecting its wearers from any possible allergic reactions to metal!



Of its special features is a rubberized red crown for comfortable winding, and SuperLuminova in anthracite for stealthy night reading.



Under the hood is a UN-118 caliber, an automatic movement manufactured and executed entirely in-house by UN. From its anchor escapement produced using DiamonSil, combing diamond and silicon, to its rotor and patented hairspring –the watch promises to be every bit as robust on its inside as it outside!
