SUISSEMECANICA SM8

By TLex Introducing SUISSEMECANICA and the SM8 Collection. The company was founded by François Renoult and Juliana Arbeláez-Renoult in early 2010.

They are geographically based in Paris however their exceptional looking timepieces are made in La Chaux-de-Fonds, right in the very heart of Swiss watchmaking territory.

Currently they have one collection, but others are in development. The SM8 family consists of two beautifully designed and crafted 200m sports / diving instruments.

One three hands model and a mono-pusher chronograph, each illustrating great ingenuity not just in terms of design and aesthetic (they are somewhat avant-garde, but at the same time pretty timeless), but there's some real technical innovation, too.

The watches are characterized by an impressively imposing looking (patented) Sliding Crowns Protector System that can be slid between 2 and 4 o'clock depending on which of the crowns you wish to access. It looks uber cool!

All SM8 models are also equipped with dual internal timing bezels, which are operable via crowns at 2 and 4 o'clock. One is for a 'Dual Time' function that simultaneously offers a dual time reading.

The other is a more traditional unidirectional ratcheting bezel designed for measuring dive-time with its 3D markers in C3 Luminova.

The watches are 100% Swiss made. They look absolutely amazing. They are bound to have suitable price tags. There is a load of info. on the website (in French) follow the link embedded below to discover more . . .
