MATWATCHES AG6 3 Legion ETRANGERE

By TLex MATWATCHES have released 150 piece Limited Edition version of their AG6 3 Steel Diver for the famous Légion étrangère AKA the French Foreign Legion.



The watch commemorates 150 years since the 'Bataille de Camerone' (battle of Camerone), which occurred on the 30th April, 1863 between the French Foreign Legion and the Mexican army. The battle in which a small infantry patrol of just 62 soldiers and 3 officers held off up to 3,000 Mexican infantry and cavalry at the Hacienda Camarón, in Camarón de Tejeda, Veracruz, Mexico.



The watch will be available for sale from April 30th at 12:00hrs. Special features include: the French Foreign Legion emblem and markings in red and green (second hand) on its dial plus a fawn colored leather band made from the same leather that is used for the leather apron worn by the French legionnaires.
