The Harry Winston Ocean Diver is that rare combination of a timepiece that represents both the most rigorous of technical requirements with one that has an absolutely distinctive and refreshingly original personal style. Both a high-precision diver's tool and a dramatically different expression of the spirit of adventure a diver's watch personifies, the Harry Winston Ocean Diver is at once instrument and work of art.

Like any true diver's watch, all the technical necessities to qualify the Harry Winston Ocean Diver for life in or out of the water are there. A unidirectional rotating bezel, which can be used for timing decompression stops, is present, along with high visibility, luminous markers and hands. As required by international standards for diving watches, the Harry Winston Ocean Diver is water-resistant to 200 meters. And, in a further addition to its functional versatility, the Harry Winston Ocean Diver is a self-winding, three-register chronograph with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a power-reserve of 42 hours, capable of timing intervals of up to twelve hours in length.

This interpretation of the classic diver's instrument watch, however, is transformed by the vision of Harry Winston into a luxuriously bold statement on the wrist. The 44 mm diameter case of the Ocean Diver is made of Zalium™, a material unique to Harry Winston, and simply the ideal material for a technical diver's watch as it is not only light and strong but also extremely resistant to corrosion. The bezel of the timepiece is executed in either 18k white or rose gold; an especially delightful touch is that the bezel rotates beneath twin Zalium™ arches, which also function as the guards for the winding crown. The chronograph pushers are smoothly integrated into the curvature of the case flank.

As with all Harry Winston timepieces, the dial is both a means for displaying information and a complex but harmonious sculpture in three dimensions, with three different surface finishes: snailing, rhodium plated, and –emphasizing the two chronograph registers –Côtes de Genève, whose fluid radiance is an homage to the aquatic world for which the Harry Winston Ocean Diver is designed.

Finally, Harry Winston's signature "Shuriken" power indicator not only adds an element of dynamic animation to the dial, but also serves a critical function when the timepiece finds itself in use in its natural undersea environment - it lets the user known with a glance that the watch is running properly.

Above or below the waves, the Harry Winston Ocean Diver is an expression of both the spirit of adventure and the uniquely bold design vision of Harry Winston.
