By TLex DEEP BLUE Watches have released a special USA Edition of their diving complication - the Cal Diver 500.

The Cal Diver 500 USA has the same basic spec. as the regular model, so that's a 46mm x 17mm Stainless steel case with a water-resistance of 500 meters.

It is fitted with a Sapphire crystal and a very special exhibition caseback, which affords a view of a Silk Screen USA Flag, which has incorporated the DEEP BLUE Watches logo into its design.

The watch is powered by the Japanese made, Miyota 9100 'Full Calender' automatic movement with 26 Jewels, 28,800 VPH, automatic and hand winding Its functions include: stop function, month, day, Date, 24hour and power reserve.

The watch is available in three dial / bezel colors: black, blue or white. The dial has Superluminova hour markers hands and the 120 click-type unidirectional ratcheting divers bezel has a dive time scale with a Superluminova 12hr pip.

The Cal Diver 500 USA is presented on a 24mm steel bracelet with a divers wetsuit extension, screwed links, 1/2 links, safety deployant and micro-adjustments to 4 positions.

I'm not really a Stars and Stripes man (I'm British), but would be very excited to see the Union Jack emblazoned on the back of diver in a similar manner or the OceanicTime logo for that matter. It's a neat idea, the perfect attire for next 4th of July!

The watch has an interesting complication that I have not encountered on any other true divers models before either. MSRP for the DEEP BLUE Cal Diver USA 500 is 599USD.
