By TLex TRIFOGLIO are newly established Italian fashion brand. Their first model the SETTE MARI (Italian for Seven Seas) whilst not a true diver by spec. does embody much of the spirit of a military divers watch.
There are a number of interesting design elements that have been incorporated, such as its simple dial layout with rounded markers (Luxor-style at 3,6 and 9) and its easily distinguishable handset. There's even a divers motif at 12 o'clock, an adaptation of the 'Special Operations Diver Badge'.
The watch case is constructed from ceramic coated Marine Grade aluminum. It weighs just 105grams. It measures 49mm and has a water-resistance of 10ATM, although a 20ATM version is already in the works. The dial is Matte lacquered with applied indices and SuperLuminova applied hands.
There are a number of dial and handset combos: shown here are green & orange, graphite & green, silver (white) & green and blue & white. As far as I know Tobacco is also offered.
Further features of the watch include a rotational bezel, K1 toughened Mineral crystal and an automatic movement by Officine Baldieri, the IT3HD with 25 jewels. It comes on a 24mm hypoallergenic green silicon divers strap with suede effect and beige stitching.
The Sette Mari is presented in a camouflage green neoprene duffle-style divers bag priced at 299euro. The watch is a Limited Edition of just 300 pieces.
