By TLex The new Tourby LAWLESS Diver is now available for purchase direct from Tourby Watches of Germany. The watch case which measures 45.5mm x 16mm with a lug to lug distance of 55mm and lug width of 24mm is water-resistant to 500meters.
It features a domed sapphire crystal and is available in two finishes black PVD or Stainless steel. Under the hood is the ubiquitous ETA 2824-2, a Swiss made work-horse favored among other virtues for its tough and reliable build.
At a glance the watch is a little Kobold-esque, but if you get past the bezel and the beveled angular crown guard there are plenty of unique features that make for a pretty nice looking dive watch.
There are a number of customization options for the Lawless Diver, which allow you to pick and chose from 5 different dial designs, 3 different date wheels (black, red or white), 2 hand-sets (standard or thick) and 2 different bezels designs (with numbers or sterile).
With a name like Lawless Diver, I had half expected to to see a gunslinger depicted on the back of the watch, which might have been cool, or at least different, but what we have is a very lovely ornate engraving depicting the Roman god of the sea, Neptune on his chariot with his trident in hand being pulled through the waves by his horse.
It's a real show-stopper and will no-doubt be the cause of more than a casual gaze or two. The inscription above it reads‘Imperium Neptuni Regis’, the Domain of King Neptune.
The watch comes with a silicon rubber divers strap and a travel leather case. Some extras are available, but at additional costs (red date disc + 25 Euro, black date disc +25 Euro, decorated movement +100, display caseback +250 Euro, mesh band +100 Euro.
The watch is priced 1'099 Euro inc. VAT for all EU residents and 925Euro for all international customers outside of European Union. The watch's delivery time is 4-6 weeks starting from the date of payment.
