H2O Watches have released another exotic beauty: the new Kalmar Damascus Steel has been constructed from handmade (hand-forged) German Damascus Steel, and I am told it is of the finest quality.
The watch has been produced in very limited numbers; only four pieces will be made of which only two are currently available. It is based on the standard H2O Kalmar's design, so follows the same basic spec. and dimensions; it is also water-resistant to 3000meters. I don't think I've encountered such an extreme diver using such an exotic case material before.
Based on the weight of the watch, 90% of it has been constructed from handmade materials. The main case, bezel, display-back, crown-guard and stunning CNC machined buckle have all been made from high-quality handmade German Damascus Steel as has the dial, which could be substituted for any of the Kalmar's optional dials if desired.
