RLJ S80 (project diver)

By TLex Here's an interesting divers project that Spanish speaking readers might enjoy reading up on. It's by the Spanish watch forum Relojistas.com. There's a huge amount of info. on the their forum, but from the little I've gleaned myself, the diver known as the S80 will comply with ISO 6425 or NIHS 92-11 for a divers watch, it will have a 316L case construction approx 44-45mm with 200m water-resistance and will most likely house an ETA 2824-2 or comparable Sellita calibre.

I'm not sure, which of the models below will make the final cut, but they both look pretty cool. Bezel Type-1, which has an exaggerated saw-tooth design and Bezel Type-2 with what looks like a rubber insert and a sandwich dial. It also has several proposed colors including blue, orange and pink!

The overall look of the both watches are quite interesting, the designs are somewhat futuristic; some might say a little over-designed, but apart from the saw-tooth, which is reminiscent of the Zodiac Super Seawolf they look to have been designed entirely from the ground up. They also look like they'll be pretty solid, too, but going by overall appearances, they really look like they should be capable of little more than just 200m.
