Diverscope JR1000 Vs. Rafale R7.0

From JR The JEANRICHARD Manufacture puts its expertise at the service of Rafale semi-rigid boats- With roots dating back to 1681, firmly linked to the genius watchmaker Daniel JeanRichard, the Swiss watchmaking manufacture JEANRICHARD reinterprets time with both dynamism and modernity. Its creative and technical independence allows it to develop original watch movements and complications and to offer innovative materials.

Cutting edge expertise, a taste for innovation, a passion for discovery, extreme care and attention paid to each detail and a love of fine works are at the heart of their activities.

Established in Saint-Nazaire, the centre of naval construction, Rafale designs and builds high end semi-rigid boats. From the architect's design to assembly, each boat calls on numerous different fields of expertise, supported by expertise handed down over generations of workers and engineers and is equipped with the latest technologies in engines, fittings and coating.

The "Haute Couture" of semi-rigids, these "thoroughbreds" are made to measure, while each one retains the characteristic sporting lines, exceptional performance and unparalleled finish and comfort levels. Designed for thrillseekers, their vivacity, precise handling and irreproachable wave piercing make them exceptional boats.

Cal. JR 1000 Vs. Verado 350

New technologies, avant-gardism, performance and discovery are the keywords of this alliance between the two brands: JEANRICHARD and RAFALE have perfected a system making it possible to integrate a watch into the console of a boat. Their development teams worked together to design an aluminium case that is inserted in the instrument panel of the Rafale R7.0 model.

A removable cushion allows the JEANRICHARD timekeeper to be easily clipped on and unclipped. The owner can therefore wear his watch on his wrist on terra firma and can fit it to its holder when in the cockpit. The time can be read through a transparent window.

Water resistant to 300 metres, the Diverscope JR1000 model was chosen especially for this project. The case, with generous dimensions of 43 x 43 mm and a steel base completely covered in vulcanised rubber, is reminiscent of the craft's floats. As with all JEANRICHARD models, this diver's watch houses a movement manufactured within their workshops, the JR1000, an efficient movement designed with a precision that echoes the values upheld by Rafale perfectly.

This exclusive system was premiered at the "Festival International de la Plaisance" boat show in Cannes, France, between the 8th and 13th of September 2010. This event launched the partnership between the two brands and marks the beginning of a great adventure!
