CHRISTOPHER WARD C60 Trident GMT & Auto (new)

By TLex The C60 Trident is Christopher Ward's take on the classic that is the Rolex GMT Master. There are two version, a GMT and an auto. Both are powered by Swiss automatic movements; the stellar ETA 2893-2 (GMT) and ubiquitous ETA 2824-2 (Auto) respectively. Their 42mm marine grade stainless steel cases are water-resistant 30ATM or 1'000Feet. The GMT Model is also available with a Pepsi bezel.

From CW The Trident series unashamedly takes its design cues from the iconic 1954 Rolex GMT Master which was the world's first ever dual-time watch - and the C60 Trident - Pro Automatic is no exception.

In 1954, in collaboration with Pan Am Airways, Rolex developed the first dual-time watch, the GMT Master, which had the incredibly useful function for the airline's personnel of being able to tell the time in two separate time zones simultaneously.

Since then many luxury watch brands have designed their own versions of this watch and now we have given the iconic design a Christopher Ward make-over using the stunning ETA 2893-2 automatic movement as the power source. And because the Trident has a uni-directional bezel it is possible to know the time in three time-zones simultaneously.

Whilst the C60 Automatic can't describe the time in two time zones simultaneously, like its stable companion the C60 GMT, this automatic, powered as it is, by the famous ETA 2824-2 movement is a premium diving watch which has been engineered for perfection and that famous Swiss precision.
