By TLex The Hydrocarbon has never looked better! Reinvented and re-engineered; its most impressive new innovations and technologies come from a newly patented buckle and crown protection system. The watch has also been depth rated to 333 meters.



Bringing a renewed strength, the crown protection system offers enhanced grip and shock protection. Ball have changed the size and shape of the crown. The entire crown now sits within its crown guard, while its locking mechanism rests on top.



The locking mechanism is tighter and better constructed. The crown itself features a much improved grip with deeper ridges, so it can easily be turned even while wearing gloves (astronauts or divers).



Ball have implemented stringent production details in making the perfect buckle. For extreme resistance and durability, the buckle has been manufactured from a single block of chemical analysis certified AISI 316L / N 1.4435 stainless steel.



The buckle is made by 100% CNC machining to one-hundredth of a millimeter precision, to ensure that it operates perfectly. It surpasses the ISO 3160-2 / NIHS 96-50 Synthetic Sweat test and passes an aging (open & close ) test 5,000 times.
