CHRISTOPHER WARD C600 Tri-Tech Diver Elite

By TLex The C600 Tri-Tech Diver Elite claims to be one of the most advance dive watches ever made. Combining tritium gas tubes, an HEV (Helium escape valve) and PVD coating - all in one diver. A first claim Christopher Ward. I'm not arguing with them either. I've had a check and can't find any divers that have implemented all three technologies into one watch.

The
Tri-Tech has a very clean and attractive dial with block hands and a white date window at 3 0'clock. There are three color options; yellow, blue or black. The PVD coating seems to be of the mil-type, eliminating shiny surfaces and reflections. The color coded accented HEV is a very nice touch and helps to break up the blackness of the PVD case.

Its 43mm case houses a Swiss automatic movement, has a large 4.5mm, AR coated convex sapphire crystal and is depth rated to 500m. An HEV at the 10 o'clock position, a sure sign that this is a professional dive watch. I would say that Christopher Ward have covered all the bases with their latest release and at 395GBP it's reasonably priced, too.

From Christopher Ward Combining Gaseous Tritium Light Sources (GTLS), a Helium Release Valve and a diamond hard PVD finish in one diving watch has never been done before, making the C600 one of, if not the, most advanced diver's watches in the world. Tested to 50 ATM This is the ideal deep dive watch.

CHRISTOPHER WARD Tri-TechTM Technology EXPLAINED

1 One-way Helium Release Valve integrated into the watch case protects the watch under extreme pressure changes and is automatically activated.

2 Self-powered micro gas lights (GTLS) from Mb-Microtec glow up to 100 times brighter than Luminova paints for up to 25 years without any need for a charge from an external source. Guaranteed for 10 years.

3 Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) coating of the case creates an ultra-hard surface for maximum scratch resistance
