Kronsegler AQUA-MAT2

TLex Here's the AQUA-MAT2 from Kronsegler Watches, who are based in Glashütte in the heart of Germany's watchmaking industry. The watch's design offers something a little different in a world of homogenous looking divers.

It has this cool vintage vibe. It's refreshing to see something a little unusual. You could say that the AQUA-MAT2 is a true 'tool watch' in that it actually serves as a functional decompression scale.

I have always been a fan of calculator / slide rule type watches such as the Vulcain Cricket or Heuer Calculator, but had never got one as my watch collecting focuses on more ruggedly designed dive watches.

However the AQUA-MAT2 gives you the desired technical look with the added bonus that it is a 200m diver with a screwdown crown and caseback, and a rotational divers bezel with elapsed dive-time scale.

The Lego-style rubber strap is very appealing to me, too. I'd be keen to see an AQUA-MAT2 in person, looks like an fun piece!
