DEEP BLUE Master Chrono 7750 AUTO DIVER

DEEP BLUE amps up the contrast on their new Master Chrono 7750 Auto Diver!

There are some that say of diving chronographs that their displays can be too busy or too cluttered and that this detracts from the business of reading dive time.

But if you’re going to have a complication, few offer more functionality than a chronograph which is why I have ton of them in my stable. And few diving chronographs provide quite the amount of legibility and contrast that this black and white beast from DB offers. Its matte white dial features three bold, black sub-dials, as well as a solid black day / date window creating a striking look in combination with a solid black handset. And when it comes to powering your diving chronograph or indeed any Swiss chronograph, few Swiss calibers are as reliable or rock solid as the one powering this new DB. It is powered by the ubiquitous, Swiss workhorse that is the Valjoux 7750 with its 25 jewels and beat-rate of 28,880vph. Its chronograph functions include -12 hour (6 o’clock position) 30 min counter (12 o’clock position), running seconds (9 o’clock position) and a day / date.

Wrapped around the Chrono Master’s high-contrast dial is a 120-click, unidirectional diver’s bezel with a black ceramic inlay-

creating yet more contrast, as well as the perfect frame for the matte white dial. The bezel inlay btw boasts a BGW9 (blue) SuperLuminova dive-time scale.

The Master Chrono is based on 316L Stainless steel case, measuring 45mm in diameter. This is topped with a 4mm–thick Sapphire crystal with ant-reflective coating on its inside.

The watch has a water-resistance to 1’000 meters or 3’300 feet and is equipped with a Helium Escape Valve, which is recessed into the case side at the 9’oclock position.

The Master Chrono’s chronograph pushers are screwed down as it its winding crown and case-back. Its sub-dials are also with Swiss SuperLuminova.

Finally this stonking new diving chronograph from DB comes on a full Stainless steel diver’s bracelet with a push-button deploying clasp and diver’s safety lock.
