NOVE Atlantean 300M

NOVE, the same Swiss brand that introduced the Nove Trident, the World’s SLIMMEST diver’s watch once again debuts a brand new diver’s watch inspired by ancient underwater mythology. This is the new Nove Atlantean, a highly engineered mechanical diver’s watch inspired by the mythical lost island of Atlantis. With an imposing 50.5mm in diameter case, crafted from 316L Stainless Steel, the Atlantean’s case architecture cuts an impressive form on or off the wrist. The case features a protective Stainless steel shrouding as well as an innovative locking mechanism found on its right lateral case side that ensures the diver’s bezel stays in place. The design inspiration came from a classic deep sea diver’s, pressurized helmet. The case is water-resistant up to a pressure up to 30atm or 300m (1000ft). In addition to the locking diver’s bezel with its lumed dive-time scale, further diver’s features of the Atlantean include: a screwed-down case-back and winding crown. The crown features knurling making it easier to grip while the case-back comes with a Sapphire crystal exhibition window allowing you to see the mechanical movement’s inner workings. Meanwhile the Atlantis theme is carried over to the watch dial which has been realized in abalone mother-of-pearl creating swirls of iridescent blues and greens. The dial’s hands and indexes are with Swiss Super-LumiNova CL3. Power comes from a Swiss made Ronda caliber R150, a 24 jewel automatic movement with approx. 40hrs off autonomy. Finally the Nove Atlantean is offered in two finished: brushed and polished Stainless steel or gloss black PVD-treated Stainless steel. Both watches come with a unique hexagonal-link bracelet with an adjustable locking clasp. MSRP is 690USD (steel) 710USD (pvd). A percentage of the Atlantean’s proceed will be donated to an NGO supporting Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef. Discover the new ATLANTEAN from NOVE.

  1. Overall nice. Personally I'd liked to see the dial/bezel proportions in favor of seeing more of the beautiful abalone.

  2. Ooooh, After visiting their website I know they need to have a chunky bezel to accommodate the locking mechanism.
