PANERAI Luminor Marina CARBOTECH

I love the smell of CARBOTECH in the morning!

One of the coolest pieces shown at Watches and Wonders 2020 was this new Lumnior Marina from Panerai;

constructed from one the most innovative high-tech materials in the industry, Carbotech, a carbon-fiber composite that’s highly resistant to external shocks and corrosion.

Additionally, owing to its random organic-like texture, each watch has its own individual case pattern, so no two Luminor Marina Carbotechs are the same.

Boasting a light-weight and ultra-resilient Carbotech case measuring 44mm in diameter this is the new Luminor Marina Carbotech™ AKA PAM01661 – and it’s one sexy beast!

The new model joins members of the recently re-launched Luminor Marina family where it stands out from its siblings with -

its characteristic Carbotech case and a Sandwich dial with blue-glowing SuperLumiNova markings.

Panerai’s Carbotech models have been designed to be exceedingly lightweight and durable. For example this model weighs just 96 grams.

Basic spec. includes: said Carbotech case which has a black-coated Titanium case-back, a Sapphire crystal and 300m of water-resistance.

Power comes from a Panerai P.9010 caliber. Executed entirely by Panerai in-house, it is a twin-barrel movement with 3-days of power-reserve.

Finally the Luminor Marina Carbotech is presented on a Panerai Sportech™ black strap with contrasting blue stitching. What do you think???
