It’s been a good while since we checked out a new Ball, so here’s a quick look at one that is currently available for pre-order at an exclusive price until January 8th 2020.
Introducing the Ball Roadmaster M Archangel which is the first model in its collection to feature a tough ceramic bezel.
It is available in a collection of eight watches with: 4x 40mm and 4x 43mm models. These are offered in 4 looks for each size.
The watches are powered by Ball’s Chronometer Manufacture Caliber 7309-C with an 80-hour power reserve and illuminated by micro gas tubes.
The 6, 9 and 12 o’clock numerals, as well as hour batons and all three hands, are comprised entirely of Ball’s industry-leading, automatic luminosity.
Constructed of robust ceramic, the bezel is extremely scratchproof, making it tough enough to stand up to the harshest and most unforgiving conditions.
It is also impervious to ultra-violet rays, ensuring that ceramic has a long-lasting color. It also comes with a Super-LumiNova coating.
The Chronometer Manufacture Caliber 7309-C is Ball’s first in-house movement, the result of years of development.
It features an extraordinary 80-hour power reserve, yet still owns a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour, or 4 Hz.
Thanks to a Sapphire crystal case-back, the Chronometer Manufacture Caliber 7309-C is on full display, while the outer portion of the case back allows for a personalized engraving.
Inside the rugged Stainless steel 40mm and 43mm cases, is Ball’s patented Amortiser® system, an additional level of protection against any violent impact.
It completely surrounds the automatic movement and absorbs shock – ensuring the movement’s precision without interruption.
Finally the Archangel is water-resistant up to 200 meters. It has an MSRP of 2,199USD excl. taxes.
