Here’s another one for fans of the Jaws watch or indeed those that have more than a passing appreciation for watches that have some sort of historical significance – movie or otherwise.
Alsta has created a Special Edition of 50 Alsta Nautoscaph III dive watches in collaboration with San Francisco-based outdoor gear provider, Huckberry.
You might have seen the TIMEX x Huckberry diver that I posted a few weeks ago; this has the potential to be even more special and what’s more they’ve just been reduced in price.
The watches technical specifications are the same as the Nautoscaph II except for some design details and the fact that this model’s Stainless steel case has been PVD coated.
Basic spec. includes a 40mm in diameter case, a Seiko NH35A automatic movement, a K1 hardened mineral crystal and 300 meters of water-resistance.
The Nautoscaph III is exclusively available from HUCKBERRY currently priced 664USD reduced from 879USD.
Thoughts? I can't fault it design-wise, really nice cross-hatching on the crown, too.
Is it a little overpriced for a mineral crystal and an NH53; even if only 50 pieces were produced. What do you think?
