RALF TECH look to the stars for inspiration for their latest WRV 1977 model –
in particular the Sun that when aligned with our closest celestial body, the Moon, and the Earth cause a rare phenomenon known as a Solar Eclipse.
This occurs when a shadow cast by the Moon fully or partially blocks sunlight over a portion of the Earth resulting in a spectacularly dramatic and potentially blinding effect in the sky.
Also causing a certain amount visual drama of its own is the spectacular but not at all blinding, is this new member of RALF TECH’s 70s vintage diver family, the WRV Auto 1977 Solar Eclipse.
The watch joins models such as the Diplomate ROYALE and 1977 BRONZE and like all 1977 models that came before it; it has been created in a Limited Edition of just 77 pieces, worldwide.
The watch is characterized by its night-sky, black sunburst dial which is adorned with 2N18 gold indexes and hands echoing the effect of golden sun rays bursting from behind a black moon.
Like ant RALF TECH diver’s model, the WRV 1977 ECLIPSE conforms to ISO 6425 norms for diver’s model.
Diver’s features include: a brushed marine-grade Stainless steel case with a tested water-resistance of 200m, Swiss SLN hands and markers, a box-shaped AR treated Sapphire crystal and diver’s bezel.
Power comes from an RTA002 automatic mechanical movement based on the ETA 2836-2.
MSRP is 2500€. The watch is available, now.
