RALF TECH have given their popular 1977 retro diver a new bronze case for 2018.
To the seasoned watch aficionado it might seem as though BRONZE has gone mainstream, and although it has been adopted by a one or two famous Swiss brands like Oris and Tudor – it is still only being used for special editions. We have yet to see Breitling, Omega or Rolex turn to bronze.
RALF TECH’s use of bronze for the 1977 is particularly apt as the Franco-Swiss brand are known for producing limited series of their models (they are not for the masses) with the vintage-inspired WRV 1977 design perfecting lending itself to this ancient material.
Basic spec. of the 1977 Automatique Bronze includes: a 43. 8mm Bronze case housing an automatic RTA002 based on an ETA 2824-2, a 3.9mm Sapphire crystal and 200 meters of water-resistance. All 1977 models comply to ISO 6425 diver’s watches. They are created in runs of 77 pieces.
Thoughts? The 1977 collection is now complete!Thought this was sexy? Check out the 1977 ROYALE!
