TAG Heuer AQARACER 35MM

Was that a bit click-baitey of me to title this new TAG as a 35mm offering rather than the ladies diver that it was always intended to be?

Perhaps, but there’s a current trend for smaller wristwatches which I realize is largely to do with vintage/retro trends but isn’t it also true that the line between boy’s and girl’s attire is becoming ever blurred,

so aren’t TAG doing themselves a disservice by labeling this watch ladies when it is in fact a perfectly good-looking diver for any gender? Would it not be a cracking first Swiss diver for a young lad or lass?

I digress - TAG Heuer has released three new models for ‘’ladies of leisure’’; a watch suited for a laid-back lifestyle at sea without compromising on all those diver’s functionalities that have become synonymous with the Aquaracer name over the years.

A stylish professional ladies (or boys) tool watch, it is equipped with all the features and functions that suit any active lifestyle on land or at sea, and one that the brand says reflects a true diving spirit.

With three new 35mm models, the Aquaracer makes a splash into the blue – a deep and ocean evocative shade chosen to evoke a blissful feeling of chilling out on the deck of a yacht or while tumbling in wave.

The blue dial has a reflective sunray effect and engraved sand-wave pattern reminiscent of the gentle waves lapping on the sandy shores of a tropical beach.

The Stainless steel models with a blue dial are presented on a Stainless steel bracelet or rubber strap in the same shade of blue.

The cross-hatched pattern on the strap mimics the texture of sailing ropes, a touch that highlights its seafaring pedigree.

The rubber strap is ideal for water-sports as it is durable, comfortable, lightweight and waterproof.

The third model in the collection has a more feminine MOP (mother-of-pearl) dial. It is also presented on a blue rubber strap. A date window at 3 o’clock is found on the dial of all three models.

The Aquaracer has always been an aquatic sports watch, and its robust design and wide range of functions make it a reliable tool out on the ocean and below the waves.

These three new quartz-powered models are no different. Each one has the six standard features of any Aquaracer wristwatch:

unidirectional rotating bezel, Sapphire crystal, screw-down crown, water resistance to 300 m (30 bar), luminescent hands and markers, and a double security clasp on the bracelet or strap.
