UNIMATIC Model Tre U3-A STEEL

Here’s a rather nice looking new chrono-diver from Italian dive watch brand, Unimatic who with this watch have released their third model AKA Modello Tre.



The Modello Tre comes in two references: U3-A, shown here in classic, brushed 316L Stainless steel, or U3-AN in black DLC.



It features a two-eyed vintage black dial with cream SLN with gilt trims, matching UNIMATIC’s signature minimal aluminum black bezel.



The Modello Tre is the first chrono to embody Unimatic’s design principles. The case blends iconic references to the Modello Uno with neat technical solutions offering both performances and aesthetics:

The Model Tre’s recessed case-back and the oversized screw-down chrono-pushers equip what Unimatic say is their most comfortable and curved case ever made.



Diver’s features of the Model Tre include: a 2.5mm thick double domed sapphire crystal, dial markers with SLN and a divers bezel with a single lumed pip.

The chrono functions are secured by screw-down pushers. Every watch is individually tested to 30 atm in Italy.



The Modello Tre is powered by a Seiko VK-64 Mecha-quartz movement, which is accurate down to ±20 second per month. The movement is tuned to 32,768 Hz. It has a 3yr battery life.

The chrono is mechanically actuated with a sweeping hand (in 1/5 of a second increments). It can be used to measure single or accumulated elapsed time, and is equipped with a spring loaded instant reset function.



The Model Tre U3-A STEEL is released in a limited series of 600 pieces, price 525euro. It comes on a Made in Italy Horween Cordovan Shell strap.
